How We Operate


Initial Meeting
At this meeting we would discuss your purpose in seeking advice and thereby allowing Toowoomba Financial Centre Pty Ltd's adviser to ascertain whether or not we can be of service to you. If we can help you then we will tell you and at the same time explain our services and the costs of these to you. It is then your decision if you wish to engage Toowoomba Financial Centre Pty Ltd and the adviser in a long term planning and coaching client relationship.
Time expended: Typically 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Cost: The initial interview cost is covered by Toowoomba Financial Centre Pty Ltd.
Data Information Collection
If you wish to engage Toowoomba Financial Centre Pty Ltd and the adviser then a confidential Client Questionnaire is to be completed which covers collection for analysis of all relevant personal and financial data. Writing down identified today's, tomorrow's and future lifestyle and financial goals and objectives. Completion of an expense Budget Planner.
Time expended: Typically 1 hour to 1.5 hours.

Construction of a Statement of Advice/Plan
Having decided to proceed to this step the client will have agreed to pay the plan fee. Toowoomba Financial Centre Pty Ltd is now in a position to formulate strategies based up on your goals and objectives and prepare a financial plan for you. Your financial plan will outline your current situation, reaffirm your lifestyle goals and objectives, our recommended strategy and how you implement these recommendations.
Typical Turn Around Time: 10 working days.
Plan Presentation
At this meeting we explain the strategies developed for your financial plan and explain how they will help you to achieve your lifestyle and financial goals. During this meeting there is generally a lot of discussion to and fro so that you, the client, can follow the recommended strategy and expected outcome. At the end of this discussion we ask you to take the plan with you and read it thoroughly, making notes in it where necessary, and coming back for a further meeting to discuss any questions you may have.
Time expended: Typically 1 to 2 hours
Implementation Meeting
After covering any questions and queries you, the client, may have and you are happy to proceed with the recommendation, subject to any adjustment or changes you may have, we would commence to prepare paperwork to implement the recommended strategies outlined in your plan.
Cost: Implementation Fee is now due.
Ongoing Services & Advice
At the time of implementation you, the client, will enter into a service agreement between your adviser and you, the client, on the level of service you prefer. This agreement outlines the cost of this service. The cost of ongoing service can be paid in a variety of ways. See fees – Offer Document for details. Ongoing contact may be initiated by you, the client, and/or the adviser on an adhoc basis between regular reviews so as to maintain the smooth ongoing maintenance of your investments and/or insurance.
Cost: included in ongoing fees.
